Little Gem in Georgetown

It's been awhile again, lack of updates... but manage to visit the "Gem Restaurant" for fine indian cuisine with down to earth prices. Located at the corner between Bishop Street and King Street in Penang Georgetown.

The main hall with tables and chairs

The simplistic design, more tables and chairs upstairs

I wonder what those cups are made of...

Front facade of the restaurant

The corner or Bishop street and King street

The main entrance

Fried vege with spices, Pakora

Indian cuisine famous drink, mango lassi, yogurt based drink.

Fiery red prawn dish and fried rice

Garlic naan, nice to serve with curry.

Fish Moilee, cream curry cooked with fish, absolutely delicious when served with rice

Prawn in thick sauce, it is quite nice

Pulao rice, rice stir-fried lightly.(RM 6.90)

Overall, it was nice to have indian cuisine, a change on taste. I would recommend those who are looking for value for money indian cuisine. Ample parking space too.
